Engagement Managers are project leaders. In this role, You will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading internal teams in developing solutions, and contributing to the growth and impact of the firm. You’ll lead teams of Associates and Business Analysts to develop clients’ impact strategies and program designs, conduct monitoring and evaluation, and advise on opportunities for performance improvement. Internally, you will manage diverse internal initiatives and play an active role in mentoring and inspiring our ambitious consultants. 

While there isn’t any one educational or professional background that best prepares you for a fulfilling career at Cicero, we look for the following qualifications:​

  • Advanced graduate degree (MBA, PhD, MPA, JD, etc.) and exceptional academic record
  • Experience in strategy consulting or advisory/leadership roles in the social sector
  • Demonstrated passion for and commitment to working in the social sector
  • Business development and relationship-management experience
  • Exceptional analytical and insight generation abilities
  • Proven ability to coach and direct intelligent teams
  • Exceptional ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, both verbally and in writing
